An intelligent player who has gotten bigger and stronger to prepare for a breakout sophomore campaign ... Earned his first varsity letter in 2006, appearing in 36 games. 2005-06 (Freshman): Missed a significant portion of the early part of the season with illness ... Made his first appearance in the Spartan uniform in a 7-4 loss to Nebraska-Omaha (11/11) ... Tallied his first point as a Spartan in his 10th game of the season, an assist on Bryan Lerg's first-period goal in the 4-4 tie with Alaska-Fairbanks (12/9) ...
