| As a senior, Rucker earned All-Metro honors. As a running back he had 432 yards rushing and six touchdowns, receiver 14 receptions, 221 yards and five touchdowns. As a defensive back he tallied 31 unassisted tackles, 14 assists, seven deflections an d seven interceptions.
Rucker ranks as one of the top defensive backs in Michigan in 2006, a year that features some of the nation's best at the position within the state. As a junior, in nine games, Rucker recorded 35 receptions and 12 touchdowns on offense, and four interceptions and two sacks on defense.
Partial senior season (8-3) stats: 650 yards receiving/13 touchdowns; 215 yards rushing/3 touchdowns.
Rucker reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 20 ACT.
Rucker: "I prefer to be a receiver because I like to make plays and I think I'm a better threat on offense. I'm a better athlete on offense because my best strength is making big plays. I want to improve my tackling and finishing plays..."
