| Saddler plays bigger than his size. He can match-up against wide receivers several inches taller than he is and his physical ability and competitiveness will make-up for his lack of ideal size. Saddler has very fluid hips, he has outstanding closing speed. Despite, his size he is a very solid open field tackler. Where Saddler shows his value is in the return game. | As a junior, Saddler ran for 1,045 yards and 12 touchdowns on 196 carries. He totaled 309 yards receiving and two touchdowns on 17 receptions. He ran back 28 kickoffs for 1,011 yards and five touchdowns an average of 36.1 yards per return. He returned 10 punts for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 10 yards per touch on offense. Defensively he recorded 23 tackles, two interceptions, one was returned for a touchdown.
As a senior, Cameron Saddler was named to the "Fabulous 22" team by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Final senior (11-2) stats: 1,700 yards rushing and 31 touchdowns
Saddler has nine career blocked kicks. He earned first team Class AAAA Associated Press All-State honors. He was named first team All-Conference by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" team. Saddler was also named to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25" team.
Saddler: "I have great awareness and am very smart on the field. I know what's going on around me all the time. I love football. There's nothing else I'd rather be doing.
"I want to bulk up and get stronger and be more physical and take more of a pounding," he said. "I also want to improve my 40 speed."
