Sources have informed Scout.com that Detroit Southeastern's William Gholston has committed to Michigan State.
We confirmed the breaking news with additiona sources close to Gholston following the tip.
The 6'7, 250-lb linebacker/defensive end had offers from across the country, but has chosen to stay in his home state and play for head coach Mark Dantonio and the Spartans.
Gholston is MSU's fourth verbal commitment, all coming from within the state lines. He is also the third from Detroit, joining Crockett wide receiver Tony Lippett and Renaissance cornerback Mylan Hicks.
