It was a big weekend for the Big Ten and on Monday the conference released their honors for the first week of play.
Michigan State freshman running back Le'Veon Bell became the first true freshman running back in MSU history to rush for over 100 yards in his college debut.
For the day Bell rushed for 141 yards on just 10 carries with two touchdowns.
For his performance Bell shared Big Ten Freshman honors with Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden.
Bell will look to have another big day on Saturday as Michigan State will play Florida Atlantic in Detriot.
