Senior Mark Dell has great size and athletic ability to cause match-up problems for defenses. With a more polished Kirk Cousins throwing the football, Dell should have the biggest season of his Spartan career.
Junior B.J. Cunningham matches Dell in size and continues to improve on the smaller parts of his game. Like Dell, the Westerville, Ohio native should be expected to have his biggest season as a Spartan. Last season Cunningham was a clutch performer with 23 of his 48 catches giving the Spartans a first down.
While Dell and Cunningham are the big sized type receivers that can give you the play when you need it, Junior Keshawn Martin has the ability to explode past a defense and score any time he touches the ball. While Martin showed his skills on special teams, he continues to improve in the finer points of the game making him a deep threat teams will have to pay attention to.
Keith Nichol showed signs of being a very solid player this spring and his continued development gives the Spartans a tough receiver capable of going over the middle for the hard fought catch.
While it would be easy to stop with these four players, the Spartans have also got several young players looking to open the eyes of coaches between the start of camp and the season.
