Michigan led by three with under two minutes remaining led by strong games from DeShawn Sims (19 points and five rebounds) and a repentent Manny Harris (16 points, five steals, five rebounds and four assists), but Raymar Morgan converted a great interior pass from Draymond Green for two of his game high 20 points.

Michigan then missed on its next two possessions, an errant pass and a Harris airball on an attempted three-pointer.

Despite being kicked in the head by Harrris, drawing a foul, Lucas got off the mat and hit the jumper that gave MSU the lead.

UM's attempted an alley-oop pass for Sims, but Morgan's strong defense prevented him from converting and MSU's winning streak grew to eight.

Lucas (12 points), Durrell Summers (10 points) and Draymond Green (10 points) all scored in double-figures for MSU.
