Aloha from the island of Oahu and Mahalo for staying up late with Badger Nation! The Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year hasn't missed a beat, as sophomore John Clay rushed for 165 rushing yards and three of UW's seven rushing touchdowns, as the Badgers' 554 yards of total offense dominated Hawaii in a 51-10 blowout Saturday.

HONOLULU – With Hawaii on a four-game winning streak, fighting for a bowl birth in the Hawaii Bowl and possession a potent aerial assault, Saturday’s regular season finale has the makings of a potentially damaging UW loss.

Those thoughts were put too bed before many Wisconsin fans hit the hay themselves due to the late kickoff.

Sophomore running back John Clay rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns in three quarters of work while Wisconsin’s defense limited Hawaii to just three rushing yards, out gaining Hawaii 554-198 in a dominant 51-10 victory.

Junior quarterback Scott Tolzien completed 16-of-20 passes for 253 yards, setting up UW’s first three touchdowns with an aerial assault on UH’s secondary, as the Badgers averaged 7.7 yards per play.

The Badgers (9-3) clinched their fifth nine-win season in the last six seasons and prevented Hawaii (6-7) from qualifying for the Hawaii Bowl.
