DETROIT - Michigan State received their third commitment of the 2010 class when Detroit Renaissance defensive back Mylan Hicks, one of the top players in the state committed to the Spartans.

Hicks who gave GSN's Sean Scherer a text immediately after calling the Michigan State coaching staff to inform him of his decision.
