DETROIT - In one of his best video interviews to date, Detroit Pershing star guard Keith Appling talks about his friend Derrick Nix winning the Mr. Basketball award, his 25 point explosion against Warren DeLaSalle and continuing Pershing's run to the State Championship.

Appling was held scoreless until the 2:35 mark of the second quarter, but when he did get going, to quote Hall of Fame announcer Dick Enberg "Oh My."

Appling connected on three long triples to turn four point lead into a 13-point advantage that DeLaSalle and star guard Alex Marcotullio, could never recover.

Afterwards, Appling talked about the upcoming matchup with Romulus.
