Brian Hoyer started his first game for Michigan State at Penn State two years ago, throwing a school-record 61 passes. That team lost eight games in a disappointing season.
With only two blemishes this season, Hoyer will leave the Green & White better than he found them and even has an outside chance to help get MSU to the Rose Bowl. After practice earlier this week, Hoyer talked about the game this weekend, how throwing in the cold feels and what it was like two years ago as a wide-eyed replacement for Drew Stanton.
