TyQuan Hammock committed to Michigan State this evening, making it 13 total commits for the 2009 Spartan recruiting class.
"It feels great to be a member of the Spartan family," the linebacker from Ft. Wayne, Ind., told GSN.
Hammock visited MSU with his parents and they spoke with head coach Mark Dantonio extensively before he gave his commitment.
Hammock said an opportunity for playing time and a comfortable atmosphere were large factors in his decision.
