Safety Talk: Trawick, White, Jr., Darks

Three prominent players being recruited by Michigan State are coming down to the wire in their decision making process, but will someone be left without a chair when the music stops?

DETROIT - Three prominent players being recruited by Michigan State are coming down to the wire in their decision making process, but will someone be left without a chair when the music stops?

Safeties Brynden Trawick of Sprayberry, GA., Lorenzo White, Jr., of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Darius Darks of Pflugerville, TX all have offers from Michigan State, but with the Spartans holding verbal commitments from All-State defensive back Trenton Robinson and the first player to commit to Mark Dantonio's '08 class, Charles Burrell, MSU may only decide to take two more players at the position.

Rumors continue to swirl that Trawick verbally committed to Michigan State last night, but GSN's policy is to have a confirmed source before reporting it as fact. Trawick did not immediately return calls and text messages left for him last night.

If he did in fact commit, that may leave just one opening between Darks and White, Jr. White told GSN's Joe Torok yesterday that he is very interested in the school and will decide later this month between MSU, Central Michigan and Toledo.

Darks is on the record as saying he hopes he wasn't the one left without a chair, but still hasn't committed as of this writing.

With an upcoming dead period, recruiting activity is expected to heat up as the week progresses. Stay tuned to GSN.
