EAST LANSING - While some pundits and critics have said Draymond Green will struggle for playing time in a loaded MSU front court, that scenario seems unlikely from GSN's point of view.
ANALYSIS - Mike Fowler: Green is too talented and too productive not to hit the floor and see substantial playing time.
The most likely scenario is that Roe starts for Michigan State alongside of Raymar Morgan (if Morgan doesn't depart early) with Green coming off the bench as a sort of sixth man.
Green can expect to see the floor as much as he deserves as this coaching staff rewards hard work, especially on the backboards.
SCOUTING REPORT - TJ Kelley: He has perimeter skills as he frequently knocks down three-pointers off the dribble. "Day-Day " often plays in the post and doesn’t back down from bigger players. There are plenty more that are superior athletes but, few that posses his basketball IQ.
If Green does have a knock its his conditioning. He needs to work hard in the gym and weight room to get himself in better basketball shape.
Put everything together and don’t call me crazy when I say the Green is the best player in Michigan ’08 class, better than Ohio State bound Flint native 6’1 point guard Anthony Crater.
He will have to work plenty hard to earn playing time on the deep Spartans, especially at the small forward position.
