This week's pick'em contest got a little out of whack but one thing is becoming clear - hockey writer Rob Bennett knows a thing or two about picking football games.
Bennett continued his rise to the top with a solid 4-3 week to move atop the group at 15-6, Kevin Thomas' 4-3 week put him one back at 14-7.
Mike Fowler had a strong 5-2 week, correctly predicting UConn's upset of Indiana and Houston's win over Oklahoma State to get back to respectability at 12-9.
Pavel Kofman was on the wrong half of the ledger this week, going 3-4 to settle in at 13-8. Extra credit should be given to Kofman who endured a pounding rainstorm in the student section Saturday night only to watch MSU collapse and lose 40-37.
