The Michigan State Spartans got a seven seed in the NCAA's St. Louis Bracket and will face the Wolfpack of Nevada winners of the WAC conference.
The Spartans are no stranger to being seeded seventh, making a run to the NCAA's Elite Eight from that seeding a season ago. Michigan State will face the Nevada Wolfpack who are making their first trip to the NCAA tournament in 19 years.
The Wolfpack finished the season 22-8, going undefeated at home and ending the season with a nine game winning streak including winning the WAC tournament championship.
The Pack are led by forward Kirk Snyder averaging 18.7 ppg and 5.8 rebounds. Two other Nevada players, Nick Fazekas (12.7) and Todd Okeson (10.8) also average double figures for the WAC champs.
