Spartans pick up another defensive tackle for the 2014 class in Evans, who was a Wisconsin commitment for a lengthy time.

Michigan State is hoping for a big week to close the 2014 recruiting cycle and it got off to a very good start Monday.

Defensive tackle Craig Evans (Sun Prairie, Wisc.) took to Twitter to announce his decision to commit to Michigan State.

Evans was a long time Wisconsin commitment and reaffirmed that commitment in early January after showing interest in Michigan State at that time.

The 6-foot-2, 310-pound defensive tackle gives the Spartans five defensive linemen in the 2014 class and is the 21st commit in the class.
