Michigan State's defense continued to post good numbers, while the offense was pretty rough in Saturday's 14-0 win against Purdue.


Consecutive games Michigan State’s defense has held opponents under 100 rushing yards. The Spartans have the nation’s top ranked run defense, allowing 59.14 yards per game.


Red zone trip for MSU. The Spartans only moved the ball inside the Purdue 40 one other time in the game as they punted from the Purdue 38.


Games MSU’s defense had gone without a touchdown before Denicos Allen scooped up a fumble and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown. It also was Allen’s first touchdown.


Sacks for the Spartans – a season high.


Yards gained on Connor Cook’s first seven completions.


Yards gained on Cook’s ninth completion.


Jeremy Langford’s rushing yards, setting a career high for the second consecutive week (109 vs. Indiana)
