Brian Cole is a 6'2, 190-lb sophomore who has shown the potential to be a highly recruited player.
"I got pulled up as a freshman," he said. "It was a little nerve-wracking. I just had to get used to the speed because it's a way different speed. This year, it was real comfortable. I was just used to it then."
While he is likely to be recruited as a receiver, Cole started at free safety as a freshman and has played a number of spots throughout his first two years.
"I tried out as quarterback, my freshman year too. This year, I started at quarterback, then after a couple games, I played wide receiver, then they moved me to running back, but my primary position was wide receiver and every once in awhile, I played running back."
"It was a real good. It was big. It was nice to watch them practice and meet all the coaches. They were real cool. It was nice to watch and learn. They moved quick. They don't slow down or take any breaks, really, they just go boom, boom, boom, they go right to it. It's run like a business, it's not like high school."
It was also a chance for him to meet the coaches and speak with them.
"Thank you for coming, what school I was from and to keep working hard. I talked to Coach Dantonio, Coach Barnett and the wide receivers coach, Coach Samuel."
