Game Film: Eric Glover-Williams

Although his team came out on the short end of the score last weekend, Canton McKinley sophomore Eric Glover-Williams nearly rallied his team to a win over Massillon. Here are a few highlights of Glover-Williams against Massillon.

Canton McKinley lost to Massillon 37-29 last Saturday in one of Ohio's top rivalry games. Sophomore quarterback Eric Glover-Williams started off slowly in the game, and his two first-quarter fumbles contributed to his team's 24-7 halftime deficit.

In the second half, Glover-Williams found his stride, both throwing and running the football, and nearly led his team to victory. For the game, he rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown, while throwing for 196 yards and three touchdowns.

Although he more than likely will not be a quarterback at the next level, and projects as a slot receiver, tailback or cornerback, Glover-Williams is a highly skilled athlete with the football in his hands. He is one of Ohio's top 2015 prospects.

Glover-Williams, 5-foot-10, 165-pounds, is being recruited by such schools as Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and others.
