Green Powers Spartans Over Hummel

Going into this game I said it would be determined by two players, Draymond Green of Michigan State and Robbie Hummel of Purdue. Both are leaders for their team in every way and it showed in this game but only one would help their team triumph with a win.

In this first half the Michigan State Spartans came out relaxed and it showed offensively and defensively. Offensively in the first half, MSU did a great job of exposing the post. Tom Izzo understood that Purdue had no personnel in the post that could check Derrick Nix. Nix used his great footwork and ability to score over both shoulders very well.
