First 2013 Spartan On The Board

Michigan State on Sunday earned a double victory as the Spartans defeated rival Michigan on the hardwood and the football program earned their first verbal pledge in the 2013 class.

Michigan State football just came off signing the Class of 2012 on Wednesday and Mark Dantonio and crew wasted little time in earning their first verbal pledge for the 2013 class.

Following Sunday’s basketball game, running back Gerald Holmes of Flint (MI) Carman-Ainsworth High School gave the Spartans head coach his pledge.
