Senior tight end Brian Linthicum enjoyed his best day in a Spartans uniform against Iowa with career highs for receptions (five) and receiving yards (71) in the Spartans' 37-21 win over the Hawkeyes.

For his play, the St. Louis (MO) native has been selected College Football Performance Awards' National Tight end of the Week along with Notre Dame's Tyler Eifert.

Four of his five receptions resulted in first downs for the Spartans during their 37-21 victory over the Hawkeyes.
