Quinn Impressed By Spartans

One program that has impressed Cody Quinn is Michigan State. The junior corner spoke with Spartan Digest about the Spartans.

Cody Quinn of Middletown (Ohio) High School knows Michigan State is a program on the rise in the Big Ten. The 5-10, 165-pound Quinn also knows the Spartans defensive backs coach Harlon Barnett has ties to the area.

"Coach Barnett played at Princeton and is very familiar with the type of players that come from here. My contact with them has been pretty good. In fact, I just talked with him a short time ago and he told me they would be getting back into recruiting hard after they finish spring practice."

Quinn is no stranger to the Spartans as he visited East Lansing for a Spartans junior day.

"I have been up to Michigan State for a junior day and liked it a lot. Me and Zach Edwards went up there to see a basketball game and they showed us around the football facilities which were great."

Not only was Quinn impressed by the facilities, but how Coach Barnett works.

"I was the most impressed with Coach Barnett and how he has his meetings set up. That impressed me the most and how he stays in contact with you."

Spartans Digest will continue to follow Cody in the coming weeks to learn more about his Michigan State interest.
