Future Spartan Earns POY Honors

Future Michigan State Spartan Travis Trice II, who is committed to play for Michigan State, earned Ohio Division I player of the year honors after averaging just over 24-points a game this season.

Travis Trice, of Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne High School, helped the Warriors to a perfect 10-0 mark in the Greater Western Ohio Conference, and an overall record of 21-1. Trice and his teammates are now in the middle of the state tournament where they knocked off Belmont High School 95-43 and will now play on Sunday against Lebanon.
