Conroy Earns Big Ten Special Team Honors

Michigan State kicker Dan Conroy has earned Co-Big Ten Special Team honors for his performance against Florida Atlantic.

Sophomore kicker Dan Conroy (Wheaton (Ill) Warrenville South) tallied a career-high 12 points in the Spartans 30-17 victory over Florida Atlantic on Saturday. Conroy, who connected on a career-long 50-yarder, also hit from 44 and 41 yards on the day.

The last Michigan State Spartan to earn Player of the Week honors in Special Teams was Brett Swenson during the 2009 season.
